You may have a few questions about your custom cabinetry project, so below are some FAQ’s that may answer those questions. Whether you’re interested in kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, or any other cabinetry or woodworking project for your home, please contact PC Custom Woodwork.
How much will my project cost?
There are too many variables involved to give an accurate cost without knowing more details. Some of the factors that will affect the cost will be the wood species selected, door style, any custom moldings, size of the project, finish color, location (for delivery purposes), etc.
Can you match the finish of my cabinets to an existing piece of furniture in my home?
Certainly! Please note, however, that all finished wood will change color over time. The more light that is present, the more rapidly and pronounced the change will be.
Will you install my cabinets?
Absolutely! Any project that we build, we will also install.
Do you do smaller jobs too?
Yes. Whether you have an entire house you’d like to furnish with custom cabinets, or just a desk for a child’s room, no job is too small!
What are your hours?
Our business hours are Monday through Friday 7AM-4PM and Saturday 7AM-12PM. Please feel free to stop in and look around. However, I would recommend calling ahead if you plan to stop by, just in case we are out on a job site.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required when the contract is signed. This will allow us to purchase materials and begin building your project. Depending on the size of the project, progress payments may be necessary as the job progresses.
How long will it take to complete my project?
This all depends on the size of your project. Most projects will have a lead time of about 4-8 weeks, depending on the size.
Will you be able to match a price from one of the Big Box stores?
Probably not……and here’s why: Every project we do is “custom”, which means everything is customized to your needs and available space, eliminating the need for all those “fillers” that are necessary with “semi-custom” cabinets. With cabinets from those Big Box stores, you must use whatever size cabinets they offer, possibly leaving you with an oddly sized cabinet that is of no use to you, and several “fillers”. In addition, the material that I use to build your project is far superior to that of the Big Box stores. Unlike most of the cabinetry you’ll find at those Big Box stores, all of my custom cabinetry is built using 3/4″ plywood or veneered MDF…….there is NO particle board in any of my custom projects!
Do you offer a warranty?
Most of the hardware that I use (drawer slides, hinges, garbage can pull outs, etc.) does have a Lifetime replacement warranty. I want every one of my customers to experience many years of worry-free enjoyment from their finished project. So, in the unlikely event that you were to ever have a problem with something I built for you, just call me and I’ll make it right.
